About Elizabeth Byrne-Chartrand

Elizabeth Byrne-Chartrand is the founding member of Elizabeth A. Byrne LLC. She was born and raised in Saratoga Springs and has a strong community knowledge base. She practices extensively in residential and commercial real estate throughout upstate New York, representing purchasers, sellers, banks, landlords and tenants. Ms. Byrne has successfully represented thousands of clients in real estate transactions throughout the greater Capital District.

Ms. Byrne also focuses her practice on litigation matters, including general business litigation, real property disputes, business torts, title disputes and breach of contract disputes. Ms. Byrne also advises several small and medium sized businesses with regard to corporate transactions. Her business spans from Albany, New York to the North Country.

Prior to founding Elizabeth A. Byrne LLC, Ms. Byrne was a real estate and litigation partner with Anderson Byrne LLC in Saratoga Springs, NY. Prior to that, Ms. Byrne was a litigation attorney with the international law firm, Nixon Peabody, in Albany, New York where she focused on a variety of complex business litigation matters. Before returning to the capital district, Ms. Byrne was an attorney with the international law firm, Paul Hastings, and worked out of both the Connecticut and California offices focusing on business and employment litigation matters. Ms. Byrne also clerked for Justice Joette Katz in the highest court in Connecticut just after graduating from law school where she drafted numerous civil and criminal opinions for the justices of the Court.

Ms. Byrne graduated from Cornell University in 1997 where she was an Academic All American tennis player. She graduated from Connecticut Law School in 2000, with honors, and was an editor for the Connecticut Law Review. She is admitted to practice in New York State courts, the Northern District of New York, California and Connecticut.

Our Team

Lindsey Mendoza

Lindsey has been with the Law Offices of Elizabeth A. Byrne LLC since 2017 and brings over 10 years of real estate legal experience to our office. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Buffalo State College and currently works primarily in the areas of General Practice, LLC/Corporation Law, Residential Real Estate, Mortgage Financing and Title Insurance.

Noelle Tracy

Noelle has 17 years of experience in the real estate and title industry. Prior to joining the Law Offices of Elizabeth A. Byrne LLC, she was an operations manager for a large title company in the capital district. She also has several years of experience in the banking industry as an auditor and manager. Noelle has a degree from SUNY and works primarily in the areas of residential real estate and title insurance.

Roberta Clench

Roberta has 22 years of experience in the legal industry, during which time she has worked across transactional and litigation practice areas including real estate, trusts and estates, criminal defense, and civil litigation. Prior to joining the Law Offices of Elizabeth A. Byrne, she managed two law offices for a solo practitioner. She currently works in the area of residential real estate transactions, with a focus on the firm’s seller and bank representations.
